My husband and I both were very appreciative of April's level of care before, during and after our daughter's birth. She was experienced, knowledgeable and someone who we trusted. We appreciated the time she spent with us and the way she really listened to what I wanted and needed. April made it to the hospital with plenty of time to assist the birth (as well as took pictures for us) and had such a sweet, calming presence. She offered wisdom, advice, brought us food and never once passed any judgement during the process. April is such a warm and loving person to have around during a time that can be filled with many ups and downs and in what seems to be a never ending stream of questions. I highly recommend April as your doula! April attended my fifth birth (the first two were at a hospital, the next two at home) and brought such peace at a time that had previously been full of fear. She was caring, supportive, and helpful without being intrusive, and she assisted my midwife without interfering. Her knowledge made this birth more productive and calm (I wish I knew her sooner!) and her experience added credibility and comfort in my hours of greatest need! I'm so grateful to April. -Tina T.

I am truly honored to have had a doula to, not just help but guide me through my pregnancy as well as my post pregnancy. Being a first time, single momma everything is very much new, exciting, but also a bit anxious and common sense becomes pretty not-so-common. Having my doula, April, by my side was just an AMAZING experience, especially while in labor. She well prepared me and educated me of what to expect, with a little help of some childbirth and breastfeeding classes that she recommended me to take. Of the many incredible things, My doula helped me with a birth plan which I truly enjoyed doing with her. Since the beginning of my pregnancy I wanted my labor to me as natural and safe as it could be for my lovely baby and myself, and April helped make it possible. She provided options that better suited me and my baby with no judgment and no criticism. It was truly wonderful to have such a positive and open minded doula with plenty of personal experience. I could go on and on with sharing more details of my beautiful experience but I will leave that to be continued for the next momma!
